Maison Loulabelle is an award winning afrocentric kidswear brand. It was established in 2014 by Cynthia Oguntoye who was frustrated by her inability to find suitable afrocentric outfits for her baby at the time. Owing to this, she began to design and make cute mummy and me outfits for both her and her daughter. Slowly, their style started gaining attention with friends and family requesting that similar outfits be made for them. In no time, this little hubby began to grow into a business.
With a full range of beautiful luxury African inspired designs for kids newborn to 12 years, Maison Loulabelle has grown to be a firm favorite for the discerning mum. The brand has gone ahead to win multiple awards. in 2019, we made history by becoming the first indigenously African brand to showcase at the London Kid’s Fashion Week (Minimode) in London.
Following that appearance, we have been featured in a number of international fashion magazines including Hooligans Magazine as well as on the Chinese Government Television Network (CGTN), the BBC amongst others.
We hope to continue showing the world how truly remarkable African Kid’s Fashion can be. Our overall goal is to build the first truly global African Kid’s Fashion Franchise in the world!!
