The story of Stella Phoenix began with the timeless elegance of French children’s fashion. This experience inspired the brand and remains at the heart of all our designs.
Stella Phoenix is more than high quality, durable and functional children’s wear. Our pieces enable children to celebrate the magic and joy of childhood through each beautiful outfit. We have a mix and match design functionality that empowers children to mix up their Stella pieces or add other pieces from their wardrobe to express their individual identity. Fuelled by their imagination, they can ask themselves, “what kind of Princess do I feel like being today? A rock princess with a tutu and doc martens? Or a fairy princess with wings?”
We put tremendous amounts of focus and effort on the quality of fabrics and workmanship so that our outfits not only look fabulous but last, wash well, feel beautiful on children’s delicate skin, are adjustable to accommodate growth and work well for playtime. An example of that is putting all of a skirts through a ‘twirl test’ to ensure they are nothing short of spectacular.
Our keepsake designs are being adored by children all around the globe and lovingly packed away in treasure boxes to be handed down to the next generation. We have a high rate of repeat customers and we love being part of their special moments.
Owners Shevonne and Paul are artisan and creative entrepreneurs. They’ve been together for 13 years and have two children themselves, a daughter Stevii and a son, Lennox. They work together with a talented team of unicorns who ensure Stella Phoenix remains a leading brand; inspiring peers and customers alike.
As part of our Mindful Fashion Plan, we’re pleased to announce we have now transitioned to a true made-to-order model where we make your order when you’re ready to order it [while stocks last].
How does it work?
When new pieces land, we’ll release them like we always have! The shopping experience is quite similar to what you are used to in that you click through the products on our website and order what you like [while stocks last].
We make your order within 10 business days of receiving it, then ship it out like normal*. We love keeping our customers up to date on the journey of their gorgeous pieces every step of the way!
Stella Phoenix is passionate about re-investing money back into the communities where the majority of our customers shop from. We are always looking for opportunities to do this and currently support suppliers, businesses and charities in Australia, NZ, USA, Europe, Asia and other countries around the world.
Where possible, we aim to source Australian made fabric and components. Where it isn’t possible for us to obtain Australian made fabric or components that meet our requirements and standards, we will source from other countries, including NZ, USA, Europe, Asia, and other countries around the world (dependent on availability). From 2020, 100% of our pieces are manufactured here in Brisbane, Australia (up from 50% previously). We are very proud to showcase Australia’s quality workmanship to the world.
Every decision we make along our supply chain always aligns with our values and what’s right for our customers, considering quality, ethics and our broader impact beyond today. We can’t achieve everything at once, however we strive for progress, not perfection, and are working hard to demonstrate our commitment to mindful fashion.
We always ship express as a standard part of shopping with us. Shipping times vary given COVID – generally it’s 2-3 weeks to the UK express. Please allow up to 3 weeks for shipping.
Our estimated make time is up to 10 business days from the date we receive the order. Sometimes it is less depending on how many orders we have on the go but we always quote the up to 10 business days to be safe.
If customers have an urgent order or a particular event or date that’s important they don’t miss (for example, a birthday, a photoshoot), please note that on their order so we can prioritise them and ensure the date isn’t missed.
By providing your email address during the order process you are consenting to us contacting you about your order. This includes updating you on the progress of your order, contacting to resolve issues with your order or following up with you if your order is incomplete.
Please choose your purchases carefully as Stella Phoenix does not accept returns or issue refunds for change of mind, natural wear and tear or incorrect sizing.
We provide a comprehensive size chart on our website to help you choose the correct sizing. Please refer to our size chart prior to making a purchase as we are unable to exchange sizes due to limited stock availability.
Stella Phoenix takes reasonable steps to ensure that the products we supply correspond closely to the samples and images on our website, social media and in our lookbooks. Due to variations in production runs, computer monitors, device screens, printing colour differences and natural imperfections in fabrics (especially natural fibres) there may be slight variations in colour, embellishment, pattern or construction from time to time. Stella Phoenix is not liable for these differences and will not accept returns on this basis.
Stella Phoenix has stringent quality control processes to ensure the quality of our products, including two separate quality control checks. It’s therefore highly unlikely for a customer to receive a faulty product. It is your responsibility to check the product immediately upon delivery, but in any case within at least 30 days, and advise us of any faults or damage so that we can resolve the issue for you.
If you have received a Product with a fault, damage or defect, please contact us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org and provide evidence of the fault, damage or defect along with proof of purchase.
The faulty Product must be returned to us prior to us processing your exchange or refund.
To return the Product to us, please arrange to post the Product to us by registered post so that the Product can be tracked. In the event the Product is deemed to be faulty, damaged or defective, we will refund your return postage costs, so please keep your receipts. We won’t refund return postage costs of products that aren’t faulty, damaged or defective.
If the Product is confirmed to have a major fault, we will repair (if possible), exchange or provide a refund for the Product to your original payment method, as elected by you.
If the Product has a minor fault, we will offer a store credit if a replacement is not available due to stock limitations or a full refund at our discretion.
Please allow up to 10 days for the refund or exchange to be processed.
Nothing in this clause is intended to exclude any of your statutory rights as a consumer under Australian Consumer Law.
